In 1991 a preacher, his wife, and six children, flew from Washington State to Portugal, and then by trains to Romania.
This resulted in one comical calamity after another. But when they crossed into Eastern Europe,
it became like a tense roller coaster ride. And at the border of Romania there is an unexpected ending.

当耶稣基督死在十字架上的时候，还有其他两个人也在同一天死了。这两个人都犯了第八条诫命：“不可偷盗”。耶稣带其中一人上了天堂，而另外一人则没有。为什么会有这样的不同呢？他们二人都相信基督的存在，因为他们都和他说了话，但是他们当中只有一人为救恩相信了基督。这是一个承认自己是罪人，认为自己罪有应得的人，因为他说：“我们是应该的，因我们所受的与我们所做的相称......”他没有为自己的罪找借口，而是仰望耶稣，唯一能够赦免他的那一位，他相信基督，也求主拯救自己。“就说：‘耶稣啊，你得国降临的时候，求你记念我！’耶稣对他说：‘我实在告诉你，今日你要同我在乐园里了。’”（路加福音23：42-43）我们也当对耶稣说：“主啊，求你纪念我！我死后，我想进到你的国度里。我求你拯救我的灵魂，请赦免我一切的罪过。我愿意你在我里面，活出你的生命。”
“凡求告主名的就必得救。”（罗马书10：13）
